Suicide

I use qualitative inquiry and sociological theory to explore adolescent mental health and suicide prevention.
With interdisciplinary training in the social sciences and lived experience supporting a loved one through a suicidal period,
I am an advocate for the mental health of close contacts to those experiencing mental health crises.

My teaching style is personable and flexible. I employ a flipped classroom blended learning model for virtual content delivery.
I encourage student-to-student engagement and workshopping of concepts, whereby I am a guide for critical thinking and creative problem-solving. I encourage systems-thinking, innovative and creative solutions, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
